This Privacy Notice is designed to assist you in understanding how MARGEE  collects, uses, and safeguards the information you provide us when you visit our website (https://www.margee-atelier.com/) (the “Site”), use the services we provide on the Site and in our stores (together, the “Services”). This Notice also explains the choices you have regarding our use of your information. Any personal information will be processed in compliance with current applicable laws on privacy and with any specific local regulations applicable from time to time.

We collect the following categories and types of personal information

  • Identifiers, such as your name, email, postal address, account name, birth date and phone number;
  • Protected classifications, like your race, veteran status, and disability status, as provided when you apply for employment through our website;
  • Financial information, like your credit card number or debit card number you’ve used in a transaction with us, bank account information and transaction records;Body size and style preferences;
  • Personal hobbies
  • Commercial information, like products you purchased, considered, or viewed on our Site or in our stores;
  • Sensory/Biometric information, like CCTV images in our stores from security cameras;
  • Internet activity, like your online identifier, IP address, browsing history, search history, click history, information about how you navigate within our Services and which elements of our Services you use the most;
  • Information about your equipment used to access the Site (such as hardware model, operating system type);
  • Personal location information (including itinerary information, precise location information, latitude and longitude); and

We collect personal information about you automatically when you:

  • Log data. Our servers automatically record certain information sent by your browser, such as your web page or resource request, your IP address or domain names of the computers you use, your referring/exit URLs, your browser type and operating system, the date and time of your request, and other parameters concerning your operating system and computer environment. We also collect your search criteria and shopping history.

Information we collect about you from third parties:

  • We collect your personal information from social media and video sharing sites like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. This includes your email address if you sign-up to our newsletters and your user name or handle if you follow MARGEE’s social media accounts.
  • When you use the Google Maps service on our Site to locate our nearest store, we may use collected geolocation data.
  • We also use a social media reporting tool, which provides us with user names and handles of our social media followers.
  • We may obtain information about you as a result of authentication or identity checks (for example you may be asked to identify yourself when you pick up your purchase in store).

We may use the information you provide to us, and that you permit us to use, in the following ways:

  1. To process your orders and deliver the services and information you request through our website;
  2. To manage your account with us;
  3. To verify and complete financial transactions, including online payments;
  4. To audit data usage, such as downloads from our site;
  5. To improve the layout, design, and content of our website, personalizing your user experience;

We may share your personal information with our affiliates, as well as with trusted agents or contractors who support our operations. These partners assist with services such as processing transactions, fulfilling information requests, managing communications, updating marketing lists, analyzing data, providing customer support, and other operational tasks. Our agents and contractors are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform these functions, such as processing your order.

If our business undergoes a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or is sold to a third party, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to the relevant successor or acquiring entity.

Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You have rights to access your personal information, correct your personal information, opt-out of direct marketing and make a complaint. DO NOT TRACK

We do not support Do Not Track (DNT). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

  • This Site and our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 years. If you are a minor, you should obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian prior to providing your personal information. If we discover that we have collected personal information about a minor without the prior consent of a verifiable parent or legal guardian, we will de-activate the minor’s account and delete the information.

This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our website by clicking on the Facebook ad. The Facebook Pixel stores a cookie on your device to enable us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We do not have access to the information collected through the Facebook Pixel. However, the information collected via the Facebook Pixel, on our website as well as other websites on which Facebook Pixel is installed, is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. The Facebook Pixel also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of Facebook. Such sharing may be deemed a sale under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can opt-out of displaying Facebook ads and sharing by visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity If you do not have a Facebook account, you can opt-out of Facebook ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance here.   • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information on your use of the Site to improve our Site. In order to collect this information, Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser, or read cookies that are already there. Google Analytics may also receive information about you from applications you have downloaded that partner with Google. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to our Site or to another application which partners with Google is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Notice available here. Behavioral or Interest-Based Advertising Generally

MARGEE does not presently use Ad Choices. To learn more about the use of your information for behavioral advertising, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (https://digitaladvertisingalliance.org/) or the Network Advertising Initiative, (http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp).Some mobile devices provide options to opt out of behavioral advertising, such as the “Limit Ad Tracking” setting on iOS devices or setting to “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” on Android devices.Please note that these actions will not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

Google Analytics

Facebook Pixel
